Discriminatory Slavery

If you consult your copy of the Constitution, we can see the law as it was made.  There was one for them (those who wrote the constitution)  as Just Us and the women, children, and non-whites who were left.  The right to vote is no given to the 3/5 of a person that the latter group pertains to

Later on in the Constitution the 13th amendment  is written  to undo that little quirk with the provision that slavery is still legal if convicted of certain crimes. One can lose their constitutional rights to pursuit of freedom, not to mention property which is confiscated under piracy laws and "Maritime statutes" which we were given under Queen Victoria.
